Our baby food is developed with carefully selected and carefully controlled raw materials. With IP Livsmedel certification, we ensure that our baby food meets high quality standards.

In addition, we comply with other food legislation, including (EC) No. 178/2002 on food safety, (EC) No. 852/2004 on food hygiene and Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 on food labelling.

Baby food is not just any food. Producing food for young children involves high demands, both by law and through our own quality standards. Baby food is subject to strict regulations for raw materials and manufacturing processes, and we work carefully to ensure that our products meet these requirements.

• To maintain a high level of safety, we have implemented quality tests throughout production. Our controls include:
  
• Sampling of both raw materials and the final product to ensure that they meet limit values ​​for mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticide residues.
  
• That we place high demands on suppliers of raw materials and producers.
  
• Regular spot checks on all products to ensure consistent and high quality.
  
• Quality controls and sensory tests to ensure that the products meet our
  requirements specifications.
  
• Sensory tests to ensure that our products are enjoyable and safe for the little ones throughout their shelf life.

Our frozen baby food is manufactured in Sweden and is labeled with From Sweden. To be able to carry the label, the products must be produced and packaged in Sweden, with at least 75% Swedish ingredients. Our frozen food contains around 90% Swedish ingredients.

Baby food is highly regulated. Raw materials and products must meet limits for pesticides, heavy metals and mold toxins that are specifically adapted for infants and young children. The requirements within baby food legislation are stricter than organic certification.

For our frozen baby food, we have chosen to prioritize Swedish ingredients over having EKO certification. Some ingredients are not available as organic and From Sweden or they do not meet the high requirements set by baby food legislation. This makes it difficult to reach the 95% organic requirement needed for EKO certification.

However, many of the ingredients are still KRAV or EKO labeled, and the quality of our baby food is at least as high even without the stamp because it is baby food quality.

Our porridge bars are organic and manufactured according to EU rules for organic production. The EU leaf on the packaging means that at least 95% of the ingredients are organically certified and produced according to EU organic regulations, which, among other things, prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides and artificial fertilizers in cultivation.

All porridge bars also comply with Swedish baby food legislation, which is stricter than the organic standard.

The porridge is produced in Bulgaria, which is why the producer's certification code (BG-BIO-22) is on the packaging. Our Swedish certification number is SE-EKO-04.
