Together for a world without hunger
The Hunger Project works for a world without hunger – a world where all children get a good start in life. By giving people the knowledge and tools they create long-term and sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty. Their work reaches over 12 million people in 13 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
A good start for every child
The first 1,000 days of a child's life are crucial for physical and mental development. The Hunger Project focuses on empowering pregnant women and parents to ensure their children have nutritious food on the table. Through education about child nutrition, breastfeeding, and sustainable farming practices, they help families create a better future.
Health and nutrition in focus
The Hunger Project creates meeting places where parents can learn about nutrition, health and sanitation – a bit like parent groups at BVC in Sweden. They also work to ensure access to clean water, sanitation and nutritious crops. By educating smallholder farmers and empowering women, they help communities end hunger and poverty, one family at a time.
Mary's story – from grief to faith in the future
In Jali, Malawi, hunger and malnutrition were part of everyday life. Mary lives there with her three children. She previously lost her child to malnutrition and dirty water – a trauma that left deep scars.
Thanks to clean water in the village and education in nutrition and health, Mary's life and that of her children changed completely.

Since The Hunger Project began working in Jali, life has changed for Mary and her family. She has received training in nutrition and sustainable agriculture, and has started a vegetable garden with her sister. Now she can provide her family with nutritious food and look forward to a better future for her children.
Together we make a difference
During the month of December, Knatteplock donates 2% of sales to The Hunger Project. Together, we can help ensure that more children get a healthy start in life and that more families have the opportunity to create a sustainable future.
